THE CHALLENGE: Otis Elevators, a legacy brand that's been shaping the urban landscape for nearly two centuries, was spinning off from its parent company and becoming an independent brand for the first time in generations.
To make this once-in-a-generation opportunity successful, they needed to create a bold brand campaign that would put Otis back on the map for investors, customers and riders.
THE SOLUTION: We had to make the invisibile visible on the day that the business world couldn't help but take notice.
On the day of the NYSE listing, we proposed an onslaught of intelligently branded ad content that would be a re-introduction to the brand that set the world rising in 1853. Long form ads in the New York Times and a broadcast stop on CNBC coincided with the bell ringing, while smartly placed out of home and digital ads would drive attention to the niche investor audience.
